Turbo Tarmac

Throw your car sideways through palm-lined hairpins, desert canyons and neon-lit docks, then cash in the drift sparks for a roaring turbo that blasts you past the pack. Every race pays credits for your place, drifts, clean laps and rocket starts: spend them on engine, grip and turbo upgrades for each car, then chase gold lap medals against your own ghost in Time Trial.

How to play

Beat five rivals over three laps on each track of a four-race cup. Hold a turn through a bend to drift and charge your turbo, let go for a mini boost, hit the glowing pads and steer clear of oil, sand and ice. Finish in the top three on points to win the trophy and unlock the next cup and car. Earn credits to upgrade your cars, and race the daily track in Time Trial for medals.

Controls

• Hold the left or right side of the screen to steer, tap BOOST for turbo
• Arrow keys or A/D to steer, Space or Shift for turbo, Down to brake
• Hold a turn through a bend to drift, let go for a mini boost
• P or Esc to pause
• Controller: left stick to steer, RT or A for turbo, LT to brake, tap X mid-turn to drift, Menu to pause
