Survivor Arena

Your weapon fires on its own, so all you do is dodge, weave and scoop up gems while a dungeon's worth of imps, ghouls and skeletons closes in. Every level brings a new power, the right pairs evolve into screen-clearing storms, and new heroes and a lava-cracked second arena unlock as you play.

How to play

Stay alive for the whole run and defeat The Warden: 10 minutes in the Sunken Crypt, or 8 faster, harder minutes in Ember Depths. Walk over gems to level up and pick one of three powers; max out a weapon while you own its partner item to evolve it. Bosses drop treasure chests, treasure imps drop smaller ones if you catch them, and the coins you collect buy permanent upgrades in the Forge between runs.

Controls

• Drag anywhere to move (touch or mouse)
• WASD or arrow keys to move
• Weapons fire on their own
• Tap a card or press 1, 2, 3 to pick a power
• H to switch hero, G to switch arena (on the first screen and the results)
• Esc or P to pause
• Controller: left stick or D-pad to move, Menu to pause
• Controller: D-pad to highlight a power, A to pick it, X to reroll
• Controller: X and Y switch hero and arena on the first screen
