Terms of use

Last updated October 8, 2026

These are the rules for using Webcade, in plain words. By using the site, you agree to them.

Who we are

Webcade (webcade.gg) is a free website of original browser games for all ages, made by Webcade. In these terms, “we” and “us” means Webcade, and “you” means anyone who uses the site.

Using the site

Webcade is free. Every game plays in your browser, with no download, and you don't need an account. You may use the site for your own personal play. Our privacy page says what the site keeps and measures while you do.

Accounts

You can play as a guest. Signing in, with Google or with a link sent to your email, is only for players 13 and older, and only keeps your profile on other devices. One account per person: don't share yours, and don't sign in as anyone else.

You can delete your profile, and everything in it, from your profile page at any time.

Playing fair

Cheating in a game just for yourself is up to you, but don't cheat in ways that affect other players or the site, such as tampering with the scores and achievements the site records. Don't attack the site: no hacking, no overloading it, and no getting around the way it works. Don't copy, re-upload or sell our games or their art, or pass them off as your own.

Our games and art

The games, with their art, music and code, and the Webcade name and logo belong to Webcade, or to the people whose work we use under a license, who are named in each game's credits. Using the site lets you play the games; it doesn't give you any other rights to them.

What you create

You don't write anything of your own on Webcade. Your player name is picked from our word lists, and there is no chat or anywhere else to type free text.

Our YouTube channel and other channels

We post videos of our games on YouTube, at @playwebcade, and on other platforms. Those channels are part of the platforms they're on, so the platforms' own terms apply there too. On YouTube, that's the YouTube Terms of Service, which you agree to by using YouTube. Our privacy page explains how we use YouTube API Services for our channel.

No promises

We work hard to keep Webcade running and the games working well, but we offer the site as it is. We can't promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes, or that progress saved in your browser won't be lost. We may change, add or remove games and features at any time.

Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, Webcade isn't responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, or from not being able to use it, including lost game progress. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you and doesn't let anyone take away.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes too. If you keep using Webcade after that, the new terms apply.
