Word Blitz

Trace glowing rune trails through a tablet of carved temple letters and spell as many words as you can before the clock runs out. Rapid-fire finds stoke the blue Blitz fire for bonus points, and every round ends by showing you the words that were hiding in plain sight.

How to play

Swipe across touching letters, diagonals included, to spell words of three or more letters, using each tile once per word. Longer words score far more (100 for three letters, 1,500 for seven), and finding words back to back raises a Blitz multiplier up to x3. Score as much as you can in 90 seconds on the 4×4 tablet, or two minutes on the 5×5 tablet you unlock by finding 12 words in a round.

Controls

• Swipe across letters to spell a word, lift to submit
• Or type the letters on a keyboard, Enter to submit, Backspace to undo
• After a round, tap a missed word to see where it was hiding
• Controller: stick or D-pad to move, hold A across letters and let go to submit
• Or tap A letter by letter and press X to submit; B undoes a letter, Menu pauses (Y there turns rumble on or off)
