Fast, chunky arcade football in a packed stadium. Weave past defenders, wind up a rocket shot that streaks at goal, and watch the keeper throw himself at it as the crowd roars.

How to play

You always control the player nearest the ball. Outscore the other side over two quick halves; a draw goes to golden goal. Win the quarter-final, semi-final and final to lift each of the four cups and earn new kits along the way. Every club plays its own way, from quick passers to a high press, so read the pre-match card. Every match pays training points and up to three stars: spend the points on shot power, sprint stamina, keeper reflexes and tackle reach.

Controls

• Drag the stick, or use Arrows / WASD, to move
• Hold Shoot or Space and let go to fire; a full charge is a power shot, but keepers read it from straight on, so shoot from an angle, pass first or steer the stick, and don't hold it too long
• Tap Pass or J to pass to the teammate you point at; get it straight back for a one-two and a burst of pace
• Defending: Shoot slide-tackles, Pass switches player
• Hold the green sprint button or Shift for a burst of pace
• Controller: left stick to move, hold A and let go to shoot, X to pass or switch, RT to sprint, Menu for the clubhouse
• 2 players: two controllers, or one keyboard with WASD and F G H vs Arrows and K L ;
