Streak

Crack a hidden five-letter word in six guesses as stone tiles flip green and gold with every clue. Keep your daily streak alive and your hearth fire grows from a spark into a roaring bonfire, then climb the Blaze run in Practice, where every word in a row gets harder, and spend the embers you earn on hints, new flames and tile stones.

How to play

Type any five-letter word and press Enter. Green means the right letter in the right spot, gold means the letter is in the word but somewhere else, and dark means it is not in the word. Find the word within six guesses, solve the daily puzzle on back-to-back days to grow your streak, and in Practice keep winning to reach the Blaze and Inferno tiers, where you only get five guesses.

Controls

• Type letters or tap the on-screen keys
• Enter to guess, Backspace to erase
• Switch between Daily and Practice at the top; tap the ember purse for the shop, or Hint during a word
• Controller: left stick or D-pad moves over the on-screen keys, A types, B erases, X or Menu guesses
• Controller: LB / RB switch Daily and Practice, Y for statistics, View for how to play; push up to the top bar for the ember shop
